Ray Horton

After four years active duty in the U.S. Navy, Ray was the drummer for Miss USO, entertaining the troops and playing fundraisers for troop support groups. He then joined the John Wilde Group, moving to England and touring Europe as the only American in a British rock group. The business side for music was always intriguing to Ray, so he moved to Nashville in 2003 to study copyright law at Belmont University.

In late 2003, it was on Music Row that Ray started working for and building a business relationship with the Music Row veterans, Jack Key and Jeff Brothers at Music Mill Entertainment. This is where Ray gained extensive knowledge in publishing administration, copyright law, and writer/publisher relations including song placement, and song plugging. Ray was responsible for all copyright administration, writer/publisher relations and song placement, most notably:

Six Days on the Road (Dave Dudley, Sawyer Brown, Tom Petty's Mudcrutch, George Thorogood, Steve Earle, and others)
